OREGON STATE POLICE TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO A GOOD FIND

A Senior Trooper was working an interdiction detail out of the Madras Worksite when he conducted a traffic stop involving a subject who was en route from Fresno, CA to Pasco, WA via Oregon on US 97. The Senior Trooper seized a large amount of pirated music CDs that were destined to be sold at a store in Kennewick, WA. The Senior Trooper also seized fraudulent government identification cards and Hydrocodone pills.

The subject was arrested and lodged at the Jefferson County, Oregon jail. The Senior Trooper’s effort is just another example of the extraordinary enforcement and interdiction work being done by the Oregon State Police on a daily basis.
